Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

By accessing Rednet, creating an account or subscribing to a plan, you agree to these Terms. If you act for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

1. What we do, and what we do not do

Rednet is an independent market intelligence and data aggregation platform. We collate publicly available government procurement notices, open tenders, awarded contracts and contract expiry records into a searchable interface. Rednet is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by any Australian government agency.

Rednet is not a tender lodgement portal. You cannot submit tenders, quotes or bids through us. Always click through to the official issuing portal to verify primary documentation, register for addenda, and lodge your submission with the buyer.

2. What each plan includes

  • Free: browse opportunity titles, jurisdictions and closing dates as a preview.
  • Rednet Starter: full data for one home state plus Federal, bookmarking, and up to three saved searches with alerts.
  • Rednet Pro: all states and Federal, unlimited saved searches, CSV export (capped per export), and outbound webhooks.

Plan entitlements are enforced server-side. Features may evolve; any reduction to a paid plan's core capability will be communicated before it takes effect.

3. Data accuracy and your responsibility

Our register is aggregated from external government sources that change without notice. Agencies amend closing times, issue addenda, withhold values and suffer outages. A delay can occur between a notice appearing on a government site and appearing on Rednet.

You are responsible for verifying all closing dates, specifications and mandatory requirements on the official source portal before preparing or submitting any bid. Rednet accepts no responsibility for missed deadlines, outdated information, alerts not received, or the outcome of any bid or pitch.

4. Acceptable use

Your licence to use Rednet is internal, personal to your account, and revocable. You must not:

  • harvest data with bots, scrapers or scripts, beyond the CSV export and webhook features included in a paid plan;
  • resell, republish or redistribute Rednet data, alerts or exports to third parties or competing services;
  • share one login across multiple organisations, or probe our security controls or rate limits.

We monitor traffic and query patterns. Breaching this clause can result in immediate IP blocking, revocation of webhook endpoints, and account termination without notice or refund.

5. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Rednet Starter and Rednet Pro are billed in advance in Australian Dollars via Stripe, monthly or annually depending on your selection, and renew automatically until you cancel in your account billing portal.

Cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period, then reverts to the Free tier. Except where required by the Australian Consumer Law, prepaid fees are non-refundable and no pro-rata refunds are provided for unused parts of a billing period.

6. Intellectual property and attribution

The Rednet software, interface, categorisation and branding are ours. Underlying government procurement records remain the property of the publishing agencies and are surfaced with attribution and source links under open-government licences, including Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 where applicable.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rednet excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost tender opportunities, wasted bid preparation costs, or loss of data.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Where our liability for a breach of a non-excludable statutory guarantee cannot be excluded, it is limited, at our option, to resupplying the services or paying their resupply cost, capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

8. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. We may update them from time to time; the current version is always on this page. Questions: hello@rednet.com.au.
